Super Red Bristlenose Pleco 6-7cm

The Super Red Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp. "Super Red") is a stunning selectively bred variant of the Bristlenose Pleco, prized for its vivid, deep red-orange colouration that intensifies with age and optimal care. At 6–7cm these are well-established juveniles approaching sub-adult size, displaying their characteristic bristle-like tentacles on the snout — more pronounced in males — and the rich crimson hues that make this variety one of the most sought-after plecos in the hobby. Hardy, peaceful, and an excellent algae grazer, the Super Red Bristlenose is as practical as it is beautiful.
