Western Australia Shipping Information
Important: There are restrictions when sending live animals to Western Australia.
Due to WA biosecurity regulations, we must submit pre-release forms to WA Quarantine before we can ship livestock to your address. If orders are put through 6AM AWST Monday-Tuesday We try and process your order next day, we will keep you up to date during the process. So you know when to expect your new animals. After we dispatch from either our Sydney or Adelaide location you can expect your fish next day, or up to two days if in a rural area.
Please Note we CANNOT send snails, shrimps, native fish or plants into Western Australia. We have partnered with AquaPlant Culture located in Perth they ship plants direct to you please see our WA Plant page here
For livestock shipments to Western Australia, please note the following:
Before submitting pre-release forms to WA Quarantine, we'll contact you immediately if any fish, shrimp, or snail on your order isn't permitted. We're happy to arrange a substitute or issue store credit.
If livestock is rejected by WA biosecurity after pre-release approval, we'll apply store credit to your account. This is extremely rare. WA Fisheries is currently finalising an updated species list, which will provide complete clarity on permitted and restricted species.
