The Sunshine Ram (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi var.) is a captivating selectively bred colour form of the German Blue Ram, displaying a warm golden-yellow body with vivid blue iridescent scaling and characteristic red eye markings. Like all Ram cichlids, they are dwarf cichlids from the Orinoco River basin, well-suited to warm, planted community aquariums where their personality and colour can truly shine.
