'Strawberry') is a captivating colour morph of the Malawi peacock group, displaying a vibrant pink-red to orange-red body that deepens with maturity and good conditioning. • Tank Size: Minimum 200L; larger tanks recommended for multiple males
• Water Parameters: pH 7.8–8.5 | Temp 24–28°C | Hard, alkaline water essential — replicates Lake Malawi conditions
• Diet: Omnivorous — quality cichlid pellets, frozen foods such as brine shrimp and krill; avoid high-protein mammal-based foods
• Temperament: Semi-aggressive; best kept with other Malawi peacocks and haplochromines of similar size; avoid mbuna
• Tank Setup: Sandy substrate with open swimming space and rock formations for territory and shelter
