The Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila) is a tiny but utterly captivating nano fish, renowned for the iridescent blue-green speckles that shimmer across its body like scattered light — and for its remarkable ability to produce audible croaking sounds during courtship and territorial displays. One of the smallest labyrinth fish in the hobby, the Sparkling Gourami is a peaceful, characterful species perfectly suited to nano aquariums, heavily planted tanks, and shrimp-compatible setups. Despite its diminutive size, it is full of personality and endlessly fascinating to observe.

Arrived in variety of sizes, the fish are thriving and once settled after transit developed beautiful sparkling colour and males showing red colouring. They like to each claim a territory in tank so good idea to have enough caves and structures to keep them happy.
Great addition to my shrimp & guppy tank
