Snow White Cichlid

The Snow White Cichlid (Pseudotropheus socolofi var. Albino) is a striking all-white colour morph of the popular Powder Blue Socolofi, displaying a clean, bright white body with red eyes. A bold and active mbuna from Lake Malawi, they add a crisp contrast to any African cichlid display tank.

• Tank Size: Minimum 200L; larger tanks essential for managing aggression
• Water Parameters: pH 7.8–8.5 | Temp 24–28°C | Hard, alkaline water essential — replicates Lake Malawi conditions
• Diet: Herbivorous — quality spirulina-based cichlid pellets and flakes; avoid high-protein animal-based foods which can cause bloat
• Temperament: Aggressive; typical mbuna behaviour — best kept in species tanks or with other robust mbuna; keep one male to multiple females
• Tank Setup: Rocky aquascape with plenty of caves and hiding spots; minimal open substrate
• Skill Level: Intermediate
