• Tank Size: 30L minimum; best kept in groups of 6+ for natural schooling behaviour
• Water Parameters: pH 6.5–8.0 | Temp 18–28°C | Freshwater (tolerates slightly brackish)
• Diet: Omnivore — accepts high-quality micro pellets, crushed flakes, and live or frozen micro foods (daphnia, baby brine shrimp)
• Temperament: Peaceful; excellent community fish with other small, non-aggressive species
• Tank Setup: Prefers well-planted tanks with open swimming space; floating plants and subdued lighting help enhance the sparkle of their scales
• Skill Level: Beginner–Intermediate
