The Red Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp. 'Red') is a brilliantly coloured Lake Malawi cichlid, displaying a vivid red-orange body that intensifies with age and good conditioning. Males are particularly striking, making them a centrepiece fish in any African cichlid display tank.
