Pearl Gourami 3cm

The Pearl Gourami is one of the most elegant and widely admired freshwater fish in the hobby. Trichopodus leerii, native to Thailand, Malaysia, and the Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Borneo, this species is adorned with a delicate mosaic of pearlescent white spots across a warm brown body, with a striking red-orange chest that intensifies in breeding males. Peaceful, graceful, and hardy, the Pearl Gourami is a superb choice for community aquariums.
