Panda Garra 3cm

The Panda Garra (Garra flavatra) is a fascinating and visually striking algae-grazing fish from the fast-flowing streams of Myanmar. Displaying a bold pattern of dark brown-black bands over a pale cream body — reminiscent of a panda — with vivid red-orange accents on the fins, this active and hardy species is a standout addition to planted aquariums and aquascapes. Unlike many algae eaters, Panda Garras are genuinely effective at grazing biofilm and algae from rocks, driftwood, and glass, while also being entertaining to watch as they navigate strong currents.
