Java Fern, Microsorum pteropus, is one of the most iconic and widely grown aquarium plants in the hobby, native to the tropical rivers and streams of Southeast Asia and prized for its broad, lance-shaped, deep green fronds that bring a bold, lush presence to any planted aquascape. Propagation: Propagates naturally by producing daughter plantlets along the edges and tips of mature fronds. Separate and attach plantlets to hardscape using thread or aquarium-safe glue. Do not bury the rhizome in substrate.
