Manacapuru Angelfish 4-5cm

The Manacapuru Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare "Manacapuru") is a highly sought-after wild-type colour form originating from the Manacapuru region of the Amazon River in Brazil. Distinguished by its rich red-orange to deep burgundy body colouration with iridescent blue-green highlights on the fins, this form is considered one of the most beautiful naturally occurring angelfish variants. At 4-5cm, these are well-established juveniles ready to grow into stunning display fish.

• Tank Size: Minimum 120L; tall tanks preferred

• Diet: Omnivorous — quality flake and pellet food; supplement with frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, and daphnia
• Temperament: Semi-aggressive; peaceful with most community fish but may prey on very small fish and shrimp
