Ludwigia var. verticillata Meta 3x Stem

Ludwigia var. verticillata 'Meta' is a rare and highly coveted stem plant prized by advanced aquascapers for its extraordinary whorled leaf arrangement and intense orange-red colouration that develops under high light and CO2. Unlike most Ludwigia species, its leaves emerge in tight, symmetrical whorls around the stem, creating a striking, almost architectural quality that makes it a true showpiece in any high-tech planted aquascape. Its vivid colouration and unique growth form make it one of the most visually distinctive stem plants available in the hobby.

Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Regular trimming encourages dense, bushy growth and intensifies colouration.
