Ludwigia palustris ‘Super Mini Red’ (Ludwigia palustris ‘Super Mini Red’) is a compact, slow-growing cultivar of the classic Ludwigia palustris, prized for its exceptionally small, rounded leaves in rich red to deep crimson tones that make it one of the most refined and precise red plants available for the foreground and midground of a planted aquascape. Its restrained growth habit and jewel-like colouration make it ideal for nano tanks and detailed aquascapes where scale and precision matter. Under high light and CO2, the colour deepens to a stunning, saturated red that anchors any composition beautifully.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 3–5cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows slowly — patience is rewarded with dense, richly coloured clusters.
