Ludwigia inclinata is a spectacular and highly sought-after stem plant from South America, celebrated in the aquascaping world for its extraordinary leaf polymorphism — its narrow, lance-shaped leaves whorl around the stem and develop intense orange, red, and yellow colouration under high light and CO2, creating a breathtaking flame-like effect in the background of any high-tech planted tank. Few stem plants can rival its vivid, multi-toned palette, and when grown in optimal conditions it becomes an unmistakable centrepiece that draws the eye immediately.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Regular trimming encourages dense, bushy growth and intensifies tip colouration.
