Ludwigia glandulosa

Ludwigia glandulosa is a stunning and deeply coloured stem plant native to the southeastern United States, prized by aquascapers for its broad, lance-shaped leaves that develop an intense deep red to burgundy-purple colouration under high light — one of the darkest and most saturated reds available in the freshwater planted tank hobby. Its rich, jewel-toned foliage creates a dramatic, bold focal point in the midground to background of any planted aquascape, contrasting magnificently against bright greens and yellows.
