Lace Fern (Ceratopteris siliquosa) is a highly versatile and elegant aquatic fern native to tropical bogs and swamps across much of the world, prized for its finely divided, lace-like fronds that create a soft, feathery texture in any planted aquarium or paludarium. Equally happy growing planted in the substrate, floating at the surface, or nestled into driftwood crevices, it is one of the most adaptable aquatic plants available. Its rapid growth under good light makes it an excellent nutrient absorber, and its delicate, intricate foliage adds a naturalistic, forest-floor quality to any aquascape.
Propagation: Plantlets form naturally on mature fronds — simply detach and replant or allow to float. Will also readily root into driftwood crevices.
