Java Fern Microsorum Indo - Mini Driftwood

Java Fern Microsorum Indo (Microsorum pteropus 'Indo') is a robust and striking variant of the classic Java Fern, originating from the tropical rivers and streams of Southeast Asia. It features broad, deeply textured, dark-green fronds with a distinctive rippled surface that catches light beautifully, giving it a more dramatic appearance than the standard variety. This piece arrives pre-attached to a piece of Malaysian driftwood with a small clump of plants — a compact, ready-to-place feature perfect for smaller aquariums, nano tanks, or as a detailed accent in larger scapes. Malaysian driftwood releases gentle tannins that naturally soften the water, complementing the Java Fern's preferred conditions beautifully.

Propagation: New plantlets develop naturally along the leaf margins and rhizome. Once plantlets have 3–4 leaves, they can be separated and attached to new hardscape using aquarium-safe super glue or fishing line. Never bury the rhizome in substrate as it will rot.
