Hygrophila lancea is a slender and graceful stem plant native to Bangladesh, India, and China, prized for its narrow, lance-shaped leaves that grow in neat opposite pairs along delicate stems, creating a fine, elegant texture in the midground to background of any planted aquarium. Supplied here as a pest- and disease-free tissue culture, it offers a clean, healthy start for your aquascape. Like most Hygrophila species, it is adaptable and relatively undemanding, making it a reliable choice for aquarists of all experience levels who want a refined, understated plant with genuine character.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows at a moderate pace and benefits from regular trimming to maintain shape and encourage branching.
