Hygrophila Ceylon, Hygrophila corymbosa 'Ceylon', is a robust and fast-growing stem plant native to South and Southeast Asia, prized in the aquarium hobby for its large, broad, bright green leaves with distinctive wavy margins that create a bold, lush presence in the background of any planted tank. One of the most forgiving and adaptable stem plants available, it thrives in low-tech setups and is an excellent choice for beginners looking to fill out their aquascape quickly while providing excellent cover for fish.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows vigorously and benefits from regular trimming to encourage bushy lateral growth.
