HC Cuba, Hemianthus callitrichoides, is one of the smallest and most coveted carpeting plants in the aquarium hobby, native to Cuba and prized for its tiny, round, bright green leaves that form an incredibly dense, jewel-like carpet across the foreground of any planted aquascape. A staple of high-tech nature aquariums and Dutch-style tanks, it creates a breathtaking, miniature lawn effect that is unmatched in its fine texture and visual impact. While it demands good light and CO2 for best results, the reward is a carpet of extraordinary beauty.

Propagation: Spreads via creeping runners. Plant small portions into the substrate and allow runners to spread naturally. CO2 injection and high light are strongly recommended for dense carpet formation.
