Giant Ambulia (Limnophila aquatica) is a magnificent and impressive stem plant native to the waterways and marshlands of Southeast Asia, beloved in the aquarium hobby for its large, dramatic whorls of finely divided, bright lime-green leaves that create a lush, feathery backdrop on a grand scale. Larger and more striking than its cousin Limnophila sessiliflora, it makes a bold statement in the background of any planted tank and provides exceptional shelter and refuge for fish fry within its dense, intricate foliage. A fast-growing, eye-catching plant that rewards good light with vigorous, lush growth.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 10–15cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows rapidly and benefits from regular trimming to prevent lower leaf drop and maintain a full, bushy appearance.
