Echinodorus tenellus, commonly known as the Pygmy Chain Sword, is one of the most popular and beloved foreground plants in the aquarium hobby. Native to North and South America, it produces delicate, narrow, bright green leaves that spread rapidly via runners to form a lush, dense carpet of fine-textured greenery across the substrate. Unlike many carpeting plants, it achieves this without the need for CO2 injection or high light, making it an outstanding low-maintenance option for creating a natural, meadow-like foreground in any planted aquascape. This listing is a tissue culture — grown in sterile laboratory conditions, guaranteed pest, snail, and algae-free.

Propagation: Spreads prolifically via runners. Allow daughter plants to establish before separating.
