Echinodorus 'Oriental' is a striking and distinctive sword plant cultivar, celebrated for its broad leaves that emerge in rich, warm shades of red to copper-orange before maturing to a deep, glossy green — the vivid new growth creating a beautiful contrast against the older foliage and giving the plant a perpetually dynamic, multi-toned appearance. It forms a full, vigorous rosette that grows reliably under a wide range of conditions, making it a rewarding choice for aquascapers who want reliable colour without demanding care requirements. A wonderful cultivar that brings warmth and depth to any planted aquascape.
Propagation: Produces adventitious plantlets on flower stems. Allow plantlets to develop 2–3 leaves and roots before separating from the mother plant.
