Echinodorus Green Flame

Echinodorus 'Green Flame' is a striking and energetic sword plant cultivar, named for the way its narrow, undulating leaves seem to flicker and dance like tongues of flame in the aquarium current. The leaves are a rich, vibrant green with a distinctive wavy, crinkled texture along the margins that gives the plant an almost electric, animated quality — quite unlike the broad, flat leaves of more traditional sword plants. It forms a compact to medium-sized rosette that adds wonderful texture and movement to any planted aquascape, making it a fantastic choice for aquascapers looking for something a little different.

Propagation: Produces adventitious plantlets on flower stems. Allow plantlets to develop 2–3 leaves and roots before separating from the mother plant.
