Dragons Flame Hemigraphis repanda (Terrarium Plant Only)

Dragons Flame (Hemigraphis repanda) is a captivating, low-growing perennial from tropical Asia, instantly recognisable by its narrow, deeply serrated leaves in rich shades of deep green above and vivid purple-red beneath. In terrariums and paludariums, it creates a dramatic, jewel-toned groundcover that catches the light beautifully and adds a fiery splash of colour to any scape. Its compact, spreading habit makes it ideal for filling foreground spaces with lush, textured growth.

Propagation: Propagates easily from stem cuttings — trim a healthy stem just below a node, remove lower leaves, and press into moist substrate where it will root readily.
