The Cobalt Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius var.) is a striking colour form of the classic Dwarf Gourami, displaying a vivid, uniform cobalt blue colouration across the body and fins that shimmers with an almost metallic intensity under aquarium lighting. A selectively bred variety prized for its bold, clean colouration, the Cobalt Dwarf Gourami brings a cool, jewel-toned presence to planted community aquariums. Like all Dwarf Gouramis, it is a labyrinth fish capable of breathing atmospheric air and is known for its peaceful, gentle nature.

Care Guide

• Tank Size: Minimum 60L; best kept as a single male or one male with females to avoid aggression between males
