Boesemani Rainbowfish 4cm Male

The Boesemani Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia boesemani) is one of the most spectacular freshwater fish available in the hobby, endemic to the Ayamaru Lakes of West Papua, Indonesia. Males display a breathtaking two-tone colouration — a vivid blue-purple head and front body transitioning sharply into a brilliant orange-yellow rear — making them a showpiece species in any large planted or community aquarium.
