Blood Parrot Unmolted Juvenile 5cm

The Blood Parrot Cichlid is a captivating hybrid cichlid developed in Asia, believed to be a cross between the Midas Cichlid (Amphilophus citrinellus) and the Redhead Cichlid (Vieja synspilum). This unmolted juvenile at 5cm is in the early stages of developing its signature rounded body and vivid colouration — a rewarding fish to grow on and watch transform. "Unmolted" refers to juveniles that have not yet fully developed their adult pigmentation, often displaying a darker, mottled pattern that gradually gives way to the classic orange-red hue as they mature.
