Black Sapphire Medaka 2.5cm

The Black Sapphire Medaka (Oryzias latipes var.) is a jewel-like Japanese rice fish displaying a deep black body with a striking blue-sapphire iridescent overlay that shimmers and glows under aquarium lighting — evoking the deep lustre of a precious sapphire gemstone. The contrast between the dark base colour and the vivid blue iridescence creates a fish of exceptional visual depth and elegance. At 2.5cm, their characteristic sapphire shimmer is already clearly expressed and will continue to intensify as they mature.
