Black Belt Cichlid 5cm

The Black Belt Cichlid (Vieja maculicauda) is a bold and impressive Central American cichlid named for the distinctive black vertical band that runs across its mid-body. With a robust, laterally compressed body and striking colouration that can include red, pink, and iridescent green hues, this is a fish that commands attention in any large cichlid aquarium. Available at 5cm; colouration intensifies with age and good conditioning.
