The Betta Channoides (Betta channoides) is a rare and captivating wild Betta from the blackwater peat swamp forests of Borneo, Indonesia. A mouthbrooding species, the male carries and protects the eggs in his mouth — a fascinating behaviour rarely seen in the aquarium hobby. With its rich red-brown body, iridescent blue-green scaling, and bold fin patterning, this is a prized species for the serious Betta enthusiast seeking something truly special.
