Bacopa Japan, Bacopa serpyllifolia, is a delicate and refined stem plant native to Asia, treasured in the aquarium hobby for its small, rounded, bright green leaves that grow in neat opposite pairs along slender stems, creating a fine-textured, airy appearance that adds subtle elegance to any planted aquascape. Compact and slow-growing compared to other Bacopa species, it is well-suited to nano tanks and detailed aquascapes where a refined, small-leaved stem plant is desired.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows steadily and benefits from regular trimming to maintain a compact, bushy form.
