The Apistogramma Borelli Yellow Blue (Apistogramma borellii) is a peaceful and adaptable South American dwarf cichlid with a beautiful yellow-and-blue colour combination. This 3–4cm pair is well suited to a planted aquarium and offers plenty of personality without the intensity of larger cichlids.

Tank Size: Minimum 60L; best kept as a pair in a planted species tank or peaceful community aquarium
Water Parameters: pH 5.5–7.2 | Temp 22–26°C | Soft to moderately hard, slightly acidic freshwater
Diet: Carnivore; offer live and frozen foods such as bloodworm, brine shrimp, daphnia, and quality micro pellets
Temperament: One of the more peaceful Apistogramma species; males may become territorial around caves and spawning areas
Tank Setup: Fine substrate, plants, driftwood, leaf litter, and several caves; use gentle flow with subdued to moderate lighting
Skill Level: Beginner–Intermediate
Max Size: Males up to 7cm; females up to 4cm
