Anubias Nana (Anubias barteri var. nana) is one of the most iconic aquarium plants in the hobby, native to West and Central Africa. Its compact, rounded, deep-green leaves and slow-growing rhizome make it a timeless classic — and a perfect fit for any tank size. This piece arrives with a single plant pre-attached to a piece of Malaysian driftwood, making it an effortless, ready-to-place feature for shrimp tanks, nano aquariums, or as a detailed foreground accent in larger setups. Malaysian driftwood releases gentle tannins that naturally soften the water, perfectly complementing this beloved species.
Propagation: Divide the rhizome with a clean, sharp blade ensuring each section has at least 3–4 healthy leaves. Reattach to hardscape using aquarium-safe super glue or fishing line. Never bury the rhizome in substrate as it will rot.
