Anubias Barteri (Old Type) - Mini Driftwood

Anubias Barteri 'Old Type' (Anubias barteri var. barteri) is the original, unselected form of the classic Anubias Barteri from West and Central Africa — prized for its robust, natural character and large, waxy, deep-green leaves that bring an instantly mature look to any aquarium. This piece arrives with a single plant pre-attached to a piece of Malaysian driftwood, ready to drop straight into your tank with zero planting required. Malaysian driftwood releases gentle tannins that naturally soften the water, creating ideal conditions for this hardy African species.

Propagation: Divide the rhizome with a clean, sharp blade ensuring each section has at least 3–5 healthy leaves. Reattach to hardscape using aquarium-safe super glue or fishing line. Never bury the rhizome in substrate as it will rot.
