Anubias Afzelli (Old Type) - Mini Driftwood

Anubias Afzelli 'Old Type' (Anubias afzelii) is the original, unselected form of this tall, elegant West African species — prized by collectors for its long, narrow, lance-shaped leaves that add striking vertical interest and a sense of natural drama even in compact aquariums. This piece arrives with a single plant pre-attached to a piece of Malaysian driftwood, ready to drop straight into your tank with zero planting required. Malaysian driftwood releases gentle tannins that naturally soften the water, complementing the conditions this species thrives in.

Propagation: Divide the rhizome with a clean, sharp blade ensuring each section has at least 3–4 healthy leaves. Reattach to hardscape using aquarium-safe super glue or fishing line. Never bury the rhizome in substrate as it will rot.
