Anubias Afzelli (Old Type) - Medium Driftwood

Anubias Afzelli 'Old Type' (Anubias afzelii) is the original, unselected form of this tall, elegant West African species, prized by collectors for its long, narrow, lance-shaped leaves and authentic, unimproved character. This piece arrives pre-attached to a medium natural driftwood — a striking vertical accent that adds height and drama to mid-sized aquariums, paludariums, or as a bold midground feature in larger tanks. No planting required; simply place and enjoy.

Propagation: Divide the rhizome with a clean, sharp blade ensuring each section has at least 3–4 healthy leaves. Reattach to hardscape using aquarium-safe super glue or fishing line. Never bury the rhizome in substrate as it will rot.
