Ambulia (Limnophila sessiliflora) is a delicate and graceful stem plant native to the waterways and marshlands of Southeast Asia, beloved in the aquarium hobby for its whorls of fine, feathery, lime-green leaves that create a soft, flowing texture in the background of any planted tank. Fast-growing and adaptable, it performs well in a wide range of conditions and is an excellent choice for beginners looking to add lush, natural movement to their aquascape. Its dense growth also provides ideal shelter and refuge for fish fry, making it a practical as well as beautiful addition to any community tank.
Propagation: Take stem cuttings of 5–10cm, remove lower leaves, and replant into the substrate. Grows rapidly and benefits from regular trimming to maintain shape.
