Alternanthera sessilis (Terrarium Only Plant)

Alternanthera sessilis is a vibrant, fast-growing perennial found across tropical and subtropical regions worldwide, prized for its narrow, lance-shaped leaves that display a striking mix of green, red, and orange tones depending on light intensity. In terrariums and paludariums, it adds a warm burst of colour and lush, bushy texture that contrasts beautifully against darker greens and mosses. Its vigorous growth and adaptability make it a rewarding and eye-catching addition to any vivarium build.

Propagation: Propagates readily from stem cuttings — trim a healthy stem just below a node, remove lower leaves, and press into moist substrate where it will root quickly.
