The Dwarf Rasbora (Boraras maculatus), also known as the Spotted Rasbora or Dwarf Rasbora, is one of the smallest schooling fish in the hobby, originating from the peat swamp forests of Southeast Asia. Despite their tiny size, they are bold, active fish that display beautiful rose-red colouration with distinctive black spots — a striking combination that shimmers under aquarium lighting. They are perfectly suited to nano planted aquariums and blackwater setups.
