Red Tiger Lotus ‘Nymphaea zenkeri’ is a distinctive, bulbous plant native to Africa. It makes for a perfect mid-background plant to show off its beautiful leaves
Tiger lotus grows in a bush-like fashion, with some leaves reaching the water's surface. To maintain a compact size, this plant can be pruned by trimming off the larger leaves.
Lotus are heavy root feeders and are best kept in nutrient rich substrate which can be provided with AquaLabs Enrich root tabs and/or aquasoil.

Amazing plant, thriving in my tank, highly recommend this plant to anyone that wants something dependable.
Huge leaves melted first 2 days, since then about 4 new leaves have come through and the plant is neon red. I use no c02 injection, rather sand w liquid fert and c02, root tabs used sparingly and ive had great results
