Echinodorus 'Kleineber' is an attractive and lesser-known sword plant cultivar that offers something a little different for the discerning aquascaper. It produces medium-sized, oval to lance-shaped leaves with a fresh, clean green colouration and a slightly textured surface that catches the light beautifully — giving it a lively, vibrant presence in the aquarium. Compact enough to suit a range of tank sizes, Kleineber forms a tidy, well-proportioned rosette that works equally well as a midground specimen or a background accent plant. A reliable and rewarding cultivar that is well suited to both beginners and experienced planted tank enthusiasts.
Propagation: Produces adventitious plantlets on flower stems. Allow plantlets to develop 2–3 leaves and roots before separating from the mother plant.
