Banana Lily ‘Nymphoides aquatica’ ★

This uncommon and affordable aquatic plant, Banana Lily 'Nymphoides aquatica', is characterised by its banana-like roots, giving it its distinctive name. It is ideal for aquariums with low-flow, such as those housing shrimp, betta, or medaka.

In ideal conditions Nymphoides aquatica sends out beautiful white flowers.  

Lily's are heavy root feeders and are best kept in nutrient rich substrate which can be provided with AquaLabs Enrich root tabs and/or aquasoil. 

Please keep in mind that you may receive a leaf instead of an already established root system, a new root system will establish on the leaf within 2-3 weeks.
